Messages

Taken in late 2024 on the top of a Dublin bus. I always love learning the origin of a word, like in this case 'Messages' means shopping, but if you asked someone from outside ireland ' did you get the messages?' I'm sure you'd get a confused look. Bit of course, us irish know you mean the shopping. Where messages comes from is when you'd go to the shop back in the day and hear the news from your neighbours and community, instead of online.

So yeah, don't forget to get the messages! 😅
